Detection of Legionella in ornamental fountains

The purpose of the test is to validate, in a real municipal setting, the technical and operational usefulness of a system for the continuous and automated monitoring of Legionella in an ornamental fountain, with the aim of strengthening the prevention of biological risks. The system performs on-site analysis for the presence of the bacteria using a specific biosensor, monitors complementary operational parameters (temperature, pH, and turbidity), and generates alerts for municipal services, facilitating a more preventive, traceable, and data-driven approach to management.
